Verton, distributed by Red Rooster Lifting, has introduced advancements in safety and productivity through its pioneering line of remote-controlled load-management systems.
About Verton's Load Control Solutions
Utilising Verton's groundbreaking gyroscopic technology, these systems generate torque output, enabling precise rotation and suspension of loads without requiring taglines. This innovation removes inefficient, expensive, and hazardous practices from your lifting operations.
Verton’s Everest series supplied by Red Rooster Lifting features two ideal solutions for hands free lifting suitable for both offshore and onshore lifting applications: the Everest SpinPod 7.5 and the Everest SpinPod 30.
Both units offer precise remote load orientation and management, with the Everest SpinPod 30 providing a higher rotational capacity for larger loads.
Red Rooster Lifting complies with the UK Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 and the European Machinery Directive. The equipment can be UKCA marked or CE marked. They are also available in a range of UK Ex / ATEX classifications to suit your requirements, which comply with the and the European ATEX 2014/34/EU Directive.
Hands-free lifting solution
Taglines present many lifting challenges across industries requiring workers to be within the drop-zone or pinch points. They also create a need for more space to ensure the taglines are taut for controlling the load and can require additional manpower for complex loads. The SpinPod 7.5 makes taglines obsolete, accurately controlling load orientation remotely.
This helps to reduce injuries caused by workers being in contact with the suspended loads, while also allowing you to minimise your working footprint and streamline operations to increase the number of lifts you can complete each day.
These benefit your bottom line with reduced schedule times and resources previously needed to complete the same job, improving your revenue.
Modular Arrangements
The EVEREST SpinPod 7.5 is available as a single unit or modular arrangement to increase rotational capacity for heavy or longer loads.
The number of SpinPods used varies, depending on the dimensions and weight of the loads you lift and what level of power is required to rotate them.
- Ratings: IP 55 (Housing with Vents) & IP66 (Electrical Connections)
- On-board IoT and smart technologies
- Left, right & hold functionality
- Dedicated Dashboard included for lift data visualisation
- Onshore & offshore suitability
Exact Orientation Control
The SpinPod can engage automated rotational control to maintain its orientation, counteracting the load from rotating due to external forces.
Where precision is key, utilising the Hold function of the SpinPod 7.5 allows the operator to keep the orientation of the load in one position.
The load can also be orientated in small 1 degree increments/decrements by pressing the left or right button.
Where control of the SpinPod is required from two locations on-site (for example ground level and on top of a building), the Verton remote’s optional pitch and catch feature is your solution.
