Street Crane has 75 years of experience designing and manufacturing Portal, goliath and semi-goliath cranes and is considered a leader in the field.
Street pioneered the rail-less concept in which a Semi-Portal crane is equipped with polyurethane tyre wheels and guide rollers to allow the lower carriage to run directly on the factory floor without rails. Most factory floors are suitable for the tyre wheel loads which are similar to those of a forklift truck of similar capacity. Having no floor rail allows the greater flexibility required by many production processes and removes a potential trip hazard. Standard Street rail-less Semi-Goliath cranes are available in single and double girder construction in capacities up to 15 tonnes.
