SCOTTISH APPRENTICESHIP WEEK - COMITTED TO UNLOCKING POTENTIAL

This week we are shining a light on our apprentices doing an outstanding job at Red Rooster Lifting.

With two business administration apprentices and a mechanical engineering apprentice currently studying in partnership with NESCOL, we are proud to see the fantastic development that our apprentice team are making. We are very committed to attracting new recruits to the lifting sector and unlocking potential in people through our Apprenticeship program, with another apprentice starting in the summer who will be joining our load cell department.

Bill Aitken, Managing Director at Red Rooster Lifting, said: “Our apprenticeship programme is an important part of our business – supporting the industry with the next generation of workers as well as providing employment opportunities is crucial. We are continually impressed with our apprentices' high standards and work ethic, which is why we have continued to work with NESCOL and Dudley College and offer employment opportunities once they have their full qualifications. We pride ourselves on investing time and knowledge in our apprentices so they get the best out of their experience and feel enthusiastic in pursuing a career in the lifting equipment industry.”

Modern Apprenticeship Awards

Our Production Director, Paul Shewan, attended the Modern Apprenticeship Awards 2023 this week with our now fully qualified Machine Shop Supervisor, Kieran Pratt. Kieran completed his apprenticeship in April last year but was invited to attend the presentation ceremony this week, being awarded an SVQ level 3 in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering. Congratulations once again, Kieran.
