We have been involved in many global lifting projects over the last 30 years including, more recently, the massive Claire Ridge and Culzean offshore installations along with two very different challenges for us, the new Queensferry Crossing and St Pauls’ Cathedral bell restoration.
The aim for the Queensferry Crossing project was to provide our customer with 6 heavy duty 25 tonne hook suspension air hoists with 15 metres height of lift including delivery to North Queensferry. Our knowledgeable lifting team were able to prepare this rental to the customers specification and dispatch the goods from our Aberdeen branch within 2 days. These Red Rooster hoists were on site for over 2 months to aid in the construction of the Queensferry Crossing.
Our TNC-25TWLPE air hoist forms part of our extensive rental fleet at Red Rooster Lifting. The TNC series offers a comprehensive range of lifting equipment suited to all types of industrial and marine environments for where the duty is high, or where a robust hoist is required to withstand harsh conditions.
Our Red Rooster rental hoists were supplied to the biggest infrastructure project in Scotland for a generation, the inspiring Queensferry Crossing which at 2.7kms long is the longest three tower cable-stayed bridge in the world. A truly spectacular piece of modern day engineering providing a much needed third crossing across the River Forth. The top of each tower is 207 metres above high tide and if you laid all the cabling used on the bridge out flat then it would stretch around the world.
