Red Rooster Lifting was asked to supply the team at Vertical Aerospace Group with a solution to assist in the rapid high-scale production of the VX4, an innovative piloted electric vertical take-off and landing vehicle with zero operating emissions.
SOLUTION
Our knowledgeable engineers were able to design and manufacture a bespoke system of 4 x KITO Europe EQS electric hoists fitted with a single radio remote. The bespoke remote enables the team at Vertical to control all four units in unison or individually as required.
EQUIPMENT PURPOSE
The system supplied is initially to be used to tilt the main wing assembly of an electric aircraft fore and aft during installation to allow for correct alignment.
